Hello Experts,
Sorry for the late response due to the difference in
time zones. Here is what is happening in all 3550 I have
All Switches are in the same VTP domain and are in server mode
The vlan.dat was deleted ONLY by shutting the trunk ports of the other 3
switches
BUT, the vlan.dat kept coming back after I did the followings:
1. DELETED THE VLAN.DAT
2. SHUTDOWN ALL THE PORTS ON LOCAL SWITCH
3. WR MEM
4. WR ERASE
5. COPY START RUN
6. RELOAD
And yet the vlan.dat showed up again.
INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
