The latest Cisco partner CSMARS VMWare is 4.3 and can be ordered through
Marketplace.

But you can't upgrade from 4.3 to 6.0.X directly because of the underlying
software.

We just upgraded our CSMARS from 6.0.1 to 6.0.2. Assuming upgrading the
VMWare is the same as the real appliance, yes, you could run 6.0.2 version
on VM.

MARS 6.0.2 just came out 12/15/08. The changes are: Cisco ASA 8.0.4
support, Cisco ASA 8.1.2 support, Cisco IPS 6.1 support
