Thanks for you answer.

Regarding the DSCP to cos table , when is it used?

I understand on the 3550, it is used only before the packets reaches the
egress queue( i know there isnt any ingress queue on the 3550) to do the Cos
to queue mapping, and this happens even if the switch is set as mls qos cos x
on the incoming port.

On the 3560, the DSCP to cos table can be used before the ingress queue.

Am i right?
