As far as I understand it:
For example, if you have a PC with Sniffer installed on port 0/24, and you
want this PC not only to sniff, but to communicate outside as well, you will
use the "ingress" option. And you will tell the switch which vlan will the
PC be in with "vlan 146" option (what this option actually tells the switch
is:"Forward all untagged ingress packets into vlan 146")
