I'd say... Why? If it is not asked for, then "Why?"
The lab is not there to ask us to configre things we routinely do at our
leisure and in our own racks or networks. Nope. It's there for us to
answer the question and give them what they are asking for.
I'd say that's trivial in terms of lab requirements. And an
over-configuration that probably does not matter or one that could be easily
removed after the fact.
However, in any event it is extra work and typing.
