I passed the route switch lab.....
I just wanted to thank a few people here, like Narbik, Scott Morris, and the
Brians who seem to spend all there time here answering questions. :)
I want to thank Narbik, for a really good bootcamp and workbook that showed
me what the heck I needed to learn and what I was doing wrong. When Narbik
said "You will pass because I've seen you configure for the past week", I
left thinking, like narbik says "he's on the grass" :). I figured I still
had a lot to learn, but Narbik was right and I should have really believed
him :). Stuck at it, worked really hard before the bootcamp and Narbik put
me right during the bootcamp. After the bootcamp I worked on what I figured
were my weak areas. Made my own labs, modified narbiks labs, and the most
important thing... went through narbiks book using the doc-cd. There is no
way to remember everything, but if you can find it on the doc-cd and
understand the technology, you'll be right.
I'd like to thank Scott Morris as well...No matter what you ask him, he
replies. I post a topic up here on groupstudy that i'm having trouble with,
and 9 out of 10 times, scott replies, and even takes it offline so that my
problem is really drummed into my head. Scott is a very patient person. I
can't believe someone can be that patient, especially since I am a very
annoying person :)....
What I used to pass the lab:
InternetworkExpert class on demands - very good. the brians do a great job
here
IE workbook vol 1, 2, and 3 - these are good, I haven't used the new vol 1
workbook however. It came out to late in my prep. But the other workbooks
vol2 and 3 really helped....
Narbiks Technology focused workbook. This is a really good set of books as
well, that you get in the bootcamp.
Gotta thank the regulars as well that contribute to the list like Joe, Scott
V, etc etc. Its late here, I can't remember everyone sorry.
Also the chick that was taking the voice lab. Thanks for not ringing those
phones really loudly. I noticed she kept turning the volume down when
ringing the phones. It helped since my last attempt the phones were really
loud and it was harder to concentrate, especially when you're really tired.
:)
I need some sleep. didn't sleep well last night and was up the night before
sitting at the airport so i'm dead. Snored like crazy on the plane, annoyed
the chick sitting next to me and now I gotta get up early and catch another
flight tomorrow........
