Hi edman,

R7 will always take R1 default route cause a non abr backbone router cannot generate a default route.

Subject: OSPF NSSA default route

Hi Group,

I got confused with NSSA,

(Backbone Area)-----R1--------R7----------R8---------(External AS)

R1, R7 and R8 are in NSSA, R1 is the ABR, R8 is the ASBR.

If both ABR R1 and ASBR R8 generate a default route to the NSSA, which one
will R7 choose?

R1 & R8
router ospf 1
 area 1 nssa default-information-originate

Could anybody give me a clue?

Thanks
Ed.
