I don't know about the video mentioned, but I can highly recommend
Beau's Networkers techtorial, as well as the book. You should really
start with those. They teach you multicast from the very start and
then progress to more complex issues.

Also, when reading all those multicast books, have in mind that they
are in dire need of an update. Some of the more modern concepts are
not at all covered in there. SSM is mentioned only as a "future
technology" and not a word on mVPN (SP subject).
