F5 may have released this after sometime but when i was working on one of
hte project it wasn't available.

I think MAC-sticky its different then DNS based inbond load balancing (If I
understood correctly, not too sure):

This command is used by ACE to provide symmetrical flows. If there are
multiple routes (interfaces) from ACE back to the client, then when
using the mac-sticky enable feature the ACE will return the traffic on
the same interface that it was received using information already
populated in mac-sticky table. I believe this feature is also used for
provding a type of persistence when load balancing transparent
caches/proxies. I've seen it being used for firewall load-balancing as

well where symmetrie is essential.
