Mincir is for traffic shaping (YOUR point of view)

DE is done by the SP/switch CIR rate (SP's point of view)

You can pre-mark things as DE to make traffic not count against CIR for SP,
but that's all them and not your view. :)

Subject: DE Marking with MIN CIR

  hello experts,
i was working on some labs with fram realy taks and i
came across a task that asks for setting the DE bit. the solution was
through MQC but i was wondering isn't that done by default when we use the
Cir and the mincir command in the frame relay traffic shaping. i'm just
thinking of an alternative solution. can anybody confirm to me if it could
be done any other way than MQC?
