Lots of security folks are into various forms of hacking/cracking/whatever.
For intstance, its of interest intellectually that there would be a keygen
since the key is tied to the serial. If someone has figured out how (hashing
or recomputation of the ASA serial, whatever) then that is kind of cool. But
coming on this particular list and asking outright to steal from cisco is
pretty lame. Just get on ebay and buy one. If thats too rich for you then rent
rack time, its cheap!

And it always seems much more ironic when people involved in SECURITY want
to find ways to circumvent licensing, copyrights or whatever other legal
things get in their way.
