BGP Backdoor Routes: wrong example

Experts,
would you agree that the example given at:
http://cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/ios/iproute/configuration/guide/irp_bgp_basic_net_ps6350_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html#wp1056114
is not correct because router B will never accept any eBGP route
originated by router D in virtue of the AS-PATH loop detection?
