Just tell them you're on vacation or visiting family. Its too hard to
explain that you're there to sit a CCIE lab, and then all of a sudden the
rubber glove comes out..... Make sure you have some sort of document that
says you are working overseas or something to prove that you have paid
vacation from work, though this shouldn't be needed. On an Australian
passport you will have no issues getting stamped at the airport unless they
do a snoop-dogg on you like Australian Immigration :). I got stamped in.. I
found it quite funny though when the guy interviewing me sounded like he
just stepped of the plane himself.. he was quite arrogant and I had a hard
time understanding his broken english so the documentation saying that i had
2 months annual leave owing came in useful.
