BGP default-information orginate and route-map

I ran across and interesting behavior of the BGP "default
information-originate". I have a BGP network with 2 hub sites that
advertise a default route (redistributed via EIGRP). Once site is primary,
one is DR. Both sites advertise a number of other networks and the DR site
has a route-map that prepends all routes. If you look at the BGP routing
table, I noticed that the default route is not getting prepended like the
other routes. Is this normal for BGP "default information-originate"? If I
replace that with a "network 0.0.0.0" it prepends as expected.

Thanks.
