My personal opinion is that it's not a case of whether the lab is hard or
not - its difficulty varies based on the following (but not limited to)
points:

a) Your preparation
b) Your confidence
c) Your ability to correctly interpret the requirements
d) Your ability to correctly implement your interpretation - configuration
and accuracy - verification skills
e) Your time management
f) Your ability to deal with "curveballs" - although this is inversely
proportional to point a
Ie the better prepared you are - the less likelihood of "curveballs".
g) Following on from point f - your ability to navigate the DocCD and
efficiently find what you need should you need it
h) Your ability to manage the psychological aspect of it all

I suppose the list could go on and on but they're the major areas imho that
determine whether the lab will be hard for you or not.

From personal experience I felt my R&S lab was well balanced with some
potentially "tricky" parts however I nipped these in the bud early as I
identified and dealt with them very early on.

For what it's worth I was nervous as hell but perhaps try not to do what I
did to try and calm them... When I rocked up to Brussels, there were about 8
or so candidates waiting for the proctor to rock up. Being the aussie yobbo
that I am - I slapped my hands and decreed to all "Righteo... Game Day
fellas - we all set?" Not a single reaction - nada - the crickets had the
floor. So I sat down and shut my trap!

Good luck in December mate.
