Kim,

You are trying to become a certified service provider expert, don't
forget that. Experts are expected to be, well, experts in their field.

CoPP is _*big*_ thing in SP networks and as such completely fair game
on expert-level exam. I have used all but one of the BGP features you
mention in live networks over my years in SP industry - and I'm only
wannabe expert. As such, I would also consider them fair game.

I suggest you stop worrying about "features" and tricks and focus on
understanding how things work. When you have reached that point,
you'll easily find tools that you can use to solve your problems.
