I was testing some Private Vlans in LAB ... I have the following confusions
...
1
-- If the promiscuous port goes down ... the host within a single
community vlan do not ping each other ... why is this happening .
Promiscuous port does not participate if traffic is within the single
community
2 -- The hosts across different community
Vlans can ping each other but when I issue arp -a they show arp entry
of each other as well as of router attached to promiscuous port... i
think only router's arp entry must be present ...
