Thanks Hobbs very much.
I usually use Master index, when I am stuck with something. However, I
usually overlook the option "all releases" under the master index of
commmand reference. This is a good suggestion.
I love the old DOC CD (12.2), where there used to be Master Index for
Command Reference as well as Configuration Guide. In the new DOC CD, we
only have Master Index for the command reference, that mean at least we
need to know part of the command, isnt it. It seems the DOC CD is
specifically designed to make it harder for CCIE candidates.
Cheers,

Subject: Re: Doc CD jungle - Where RCMD (Remote Command) is documented?
heres what you can do:
go to the 12.4 command reference main page
click "master index"
then click the all releases link
go to the section "ip rcmd"
then you will see the initials "CF" for configuration details
you can go back to the 12.4 config guides and look for "configuration
fundamentals"
which is under system mgmt.
then you can find it frem there
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/fundamentals/configuration/guide/cf_
file-transfer_ps6350_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html
i recommend going to master index whenever you need to find something
and you dont know where it is but you know the command or beginning of
it. i read this advice somewhere before and it has been a huge timesaver

Hi GS,
