Hi,

The requirement of the sec 1.1 in Lab 18 states that all Trunk links to be
designated ports for all VLANs in the Spanning-tree Domain.

In my opinion the only way to do this is to make the switch as Spanning tree
Root for all the active vlan's in the domain & hence all the ports on this
switch will be Designated ports.

In the solutions the option he has chosen is <spanning-tree cost 1> on all
the Trunk ports.

By changing spanning tree cost on the trunk ports we are only influencing
the root port election, how is this gonna make Designated port ??
