Unfortunately, no. To be honest, when I started writing that text, I
was sure that it can be decoded. However, after further study (being
CCIE is far from being done with that) and packet analysis, I realised
that information required for the 2nd scenario is simply not available
on the wire. I'm sure that Cisco and other vendors could come up with
an extension for the protocol to allow for it to be passed, but it's
pointless. Like I wrote in the text, this is not a real problem in
real life.
