I was just trying to add a little humor to the situation.

Nothing personal.

hhaha Tony don't tell me you don't know guys who are starting their career
of Network by switxhing from ACCOUNTS and other NON-IT professionals and
getting their CCIE in less then TWO YEARS with NO HANDS ON Experience on ANY
OF THE ROUTERS AND SWITCHES.

It is true and I am confident those in the field of training of CCNA, CCNP
AND CCIE & others know these guys.

At least I taught one guy CCNA who was working as an ACCOUNTANT in the
company and in the eveining he was taking classes from me.

Hope this really give you what exactly is going on .

Thanks

WOW!!

Unable to subnet to CCIE in less than 2 years.

That is quite a learning curve.

In early 2007 I went on a job interview, and I had forgotten how to subnet.
I
was so embarrassed that I decided to recertify my CCNP. Then I found out I
had to start over from CCNA to get it and I decided to go for CCIE. I took
Narbiks prep for CCIE written and then read both volumes of routing, a
switching book and then started on config guides and RFC's. I went through
IE's technology labs 3 times. I started on their multiprotocol labs in
November of 07. I failed my first attempt in January 08, but I knew that
was
coming. I came back and hit the racks hard for a few months and took itr
again in August. Made lots of stupid mistakes and spent to much time on one
issue, failed again. Came back more rack time a few mock labs. Passed on
Oct 18th. Thats it in a nutshell
