TFTP is outdated but it is the one we learned and use all the time.

I'd like to formally recommend our members consider either S/FTP or FTP or
HTTP/HTTPS.

1. It's TCP Based and does not suffer from many of the limitations of TFTP.
2. You can have as many concurrent sessions as your device and bandwidth can
support. In TFTP try doing two or more sessions from the same TFTP
server... Yes, I hate it too... but it happens.

Not to discount that TFTP was chosen for its simple-ness and speed.

Just consider this: If you've got to transfer images over the wan then
think twice and do it once.
