OT: renting out your home lab

Experts,

I am not sure how many of us have a full rack (6 router, 4 L3 switches, 3
BBR, Termserver, & FRS) with all the gear needed to run a full vendor
workbook at home, but I am sure some do like I do. Of the ones that do have
they ever thought of renting out that gear once they pass the exam to get
back some of the money spent on building your home lab? I have gotten
almost all of my gear off eBay and it has cost a good amout to built it
all. Is there any pit falls in this idea? If so can you point them out,
b/c I am sure I cant see them. Also I have my lab cabled up to my vendors
work book, of the vendors out there would one have to get a partnership
fee with you to rent out this gear in your cable design? I am not looking
to make a business of building new racks or making a company of this, just
get some of the money back that I have invested, and pay for the power on my
one rack. (my wife would not let me ever build a second one) Anyone have
any thoughts on this?

Chris
