Subject: Passed R&S CCIE #22262

Hi List,

Its my turn to finally write this email. I passed my R&S CCIE on Monday
6th October in Brussels at the first attempt. I had a good feeling when
walking out of the exam, but wasnt 100% sure, as like a lot of things,
it is sometimes about task interpretations - you just never know.

Thankfully I checked my email this morning and saw the magic number of
#22262

I started my journey back in June 07 with the written test - then
procrastinated for a while getting serious about lab prep. The materials

I used were IE v4.1 workbooks (Volume I and II), IE CoD, 2x IE mock
labs, Narbik's Soup to Nuts Workbook (unfortunately I was unable to make

it to his class) and also the IP Expert BLS workbooks, VoD and graded
labs. I mainly used Dynamips for my prep but also had some rack rentals
from IPexpert to use with their workbooks. All of these vendors are
equally awesome for us in the CCIE community.

So thanks go out to Tyson at IPexpert, the Brians' at IE, Narbik, and
also Scott Morris (IE/IPexpert - he was on the VoD!) - Im glad your
still here! Id also like to throw a thank you to Scott Vermillion, who
helped me a little setting up Dynamips on my Mac way back when. The
proctor in Brussels Bruno also deserves a mention as I bugged him on
numerous occasions.

Now I can go back to some kind of normality and I know that my wife will

be happy as she can have the dinner table back, after I move my computer

and study notes off of it.

Cheers,
Jo
