Gary,
There are two options for this. 1) Create a loopback interface and use
ip unnumbered in the virtual template and 2) use a multilink group and
put the ip address on the multilink interface.
interface Multilink1
ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 1
interface Virtual-Template1
no ip address
ppp multilink
ppp multilink group 1
interface Serial0/0
description Frame Relay Links
no ip address
encapsulation frame-relay
frame-relay interface-dlci 215 ppp Virtual-Template1
