Hey Nouman,
As i understand from you post you need to manipulate you spanning tree root
ports. either using priority or cost commands depends on where the
configuration is being done.
So lu need to make fa0/10 in the FWD state for ODD vlans and BLK for EVEN
while fa0/11 should be the inverse.
Keep in mind this rule:
To affect how the local switch elects its root port change the spanning-tree
port-cost. (Cost is cumalative throughout the SPT domain).
To affect how a downstream switch elects its root port, change the
spanning-tree port-priority. Port-priority is only locally significant
between directly connected switches.
