Veteran contributors and folks with lengthy siglines,
Please ignore the comments on the thread by these few frustrated
individuals. I promise you they do not represent the group at large.
Speaking as a newbie to the group I can tell you I am amazed at the volume
of answers out here to questions both simple and complicated. I've been able
to get explanations in human terms for many issues I'm dealing with in my
studies. Pauls maintaining of this site is a blessing. I can respect Pauls
"no advertising" requirement. At the same time, I think if you've earned it
and you want to display it that should be your right as well. Yes, this is a
recruiting/marketing channel if you want to look at it that way. So what? It
takes you being out here and contributing in order to be seen and that is
what's appreciated by the rest of us. I think that it is mutually
benificial. I have had offline threads with several of you already and you
have asked nothing directly in return. Thank you to all the names out here
that contribute regularly as well as the random contributors that focus on
their area of competancy. You are all appreciated.
