Hi there, check out this link regarding PVLAN trunk port :
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst4500/12.1/20ew/configura
tion/guide/pvlans.html#wp1130380
My question is, if two switches are working, one of them working with PVLAN,
do I need to se up a port as a trunk PVLAN port by all means ? I mean,
couldn't I use a simple trunk ?
The issue is that I have the next scenario :
PC(Isolated)
|
|
|
SW-WS4507R(w/pvlan)___________(normal trunk w/o pvlan
trunk)__________SW-WS2960G(w/o pvlan)_______(Normal trunk w/o pvlan
trunk)_______FW(Firewall)
|
|
|
PC(Promiscuo)
PC Promiscuo is able to see its GW (Firweall) which is behind a switch that
does not not support PVLAN.
PC Isolated is not able to see its GW (Firewall) which is is behind a switch
that does not not support PVLAN. [My Problem !!!]
