I don't believe you can drop your date as you have paid, I am fairly sure of
this after spending a lot of time on the phone with cert support. I was in
a similar situation except I had not paid and it required multiple phone
calls after days of waiting on a open case that was going stale tp get my
date dropped. When I actually did get it resolved all it required was a
helpful employee and one phone call on her part.
