Reza,
On Narbik and his lectures.
He gives three very notable very distinct lectures, that helped me a lot.
1. OSPF - His methodology was the clearest and most concise, I had ever
seen. Very common sense/practical.
2. Multicast - Extremely practical and helps you understand multicast with a
sense of ease. NMC also gives a similar detailed Multicast lecture that I
was very happy I attended.
3. QoS - The QoS lecture from Narbik was outstanding. To be fair, it was on
par with that given by Bruce Caslow at NMC and the two were very technically
similar. Some of the aids given by one or the other differed, but otherwise
the lectures were very similar in terms of quality and content in my
opinion.
Now that is not to dismiss the rest of Narbik's classes, or his Advanced
Workbooks which I think go a long way to explaining a lot of task I
personally needed work with.
The Brians at IE have been working on some very detailed workbooks lately,
however, as of the last time I checked my account (a few days ago) they did
not yet have their new detailed versions of QoS or Multicast ready for
primetime. The quality of their newest products is quite outstanding and if
you will read their blogs you can get a feeling for the detail and
workmanship.
Brian Dennis (IE) said something about a 500 page workbook for QoS. So I'm
sure we are in for a treat when it comes out.
