Question with time-range

Hi all,
I am confusing about multiple *"periodic"* or *"absolute"* commands in a
time-range.
My understanding is as below:

   1. If there are multiple "periodic" *or* "absolute" commands in a
   time-range, we will use "OR" algorithm.
   2. If there are both "periodic" *and* "absolute" commands in a
   time-range, we will use "AND" algorithm after use "OR" algorithm in step 1.

Please correct me, if I were wrong.
