Typcially I would use the hardware-address or the mac. However, consider
all media types that might be involved.

When this is considered then the need for unique client indentifier comes
into play.

Now the means by which we discover this value can be fun in a timed lab
environment. Or even in a real-world scenario where we may need it for some
type of troubleshooting excursion.

Remember debug is your friend and so is copy and pasting... The value tend
to be long.
