Re: EIGRP / default-information allowed out

Hello Narbik,

In point 1 to originate default information, you originated default route
using network command,

I thought network command is only used to send updates to the interfaces in
the specified networks. If you do not specify the network of an interface,
the interface will not be advertised in any EIGRP update.

But here you have advertised the static route using the network command can
you please explain the behavior how the static is being advertised

It works, But when i tried pointing some dummy subnet 100.0.0.0/24 towards
Null0 and advertised it using "network 0.0.0.0" it is not advertised. But
when I used "network 100.0.0.0 0.0.0.255". It got advertised

If it is pointed towards any physical interface neither of them work. It
seems something wrong with the Null0 Interface.

Can you please comment on it

1. *ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 null0*

   *Router eigrp 100*

     *Network 0.0.0.0*

*In this case the default route will show as an internal Eigrp route.*

Regards
Sachin
