Hi,
There are 3 triggers to cause TE tunnels reoptimization when a better path
is available:
1. Periodic reoptimization:
By default each 1 hour, and can be modified via the " mpls traffic-eng
reoptimize timers frequency <0-604800>" global command.
2. Event-driven reoptimization
Disabled by default, and can be enabled via the "mpls traffic-eng
reoptimize events link-up" global command.
3. Manual reoptimization.
To force immediate reoptimization on the head-end router use the "mpls
traffic-eng reoptimize [tunnel <>]" command at the router enable mode.
BR,
Mohammed Mahmoud.
