Well, I'm glad you asked that question. :-) Here's the canned

It seems most people find the Assessor labs to be good
representations of what the real lab is like. Just 4 hours shorter.
The ASET labs use the Assessor labs as their model. The ASET labs
probably have a tad more "help" in them compared to the Assessor
labs. By that I mean that some of the tasks may be spelled out a
little bit more (less vague) than you might find in Assessor.
The ASET labs do not come from the CCIE team nor are they "blessed"
by them. But the feedback we have received is that the ASET labs do a
pretty good job.
As for as buying the Assessor labs- of course that is totally your
call. But they are the closest you can get to the "real lab". That
you can obtain legitimately, at least. In our opinion, the ASET labs
are pretty much the same quality as Assessor.
