Hi experts,
Sorry for asking non relevant question to CCIE R&S but asking with the hope
of getting answer.
I have been using Cisco Pix Firewall 520 with the following configuration

Recently I bought a new 16MB Flash card and 4 port LAN card, I removed the
old 2MB Flash card and inserted the new 16MB Flash card in its place and
restart the Pix but its hanging, I cant see anything on HyperTerminal, I
removed 16MB and put old 2MB one and Pix works fine. What could be the
problem? I haven't inserted the 4 port LAN card to avoid any confusion, I
tried with both 2MB and new 16MB flash card and Pix booted fine but I cannot
see new 16 Flash Card.
I inserted only 16MB Flash card, and I made one bootable floppy Disk with
Rawrite utility and I booted the Pix 520 with this Disk and Copied 5.3 IOS
Image file into Flash memory. This process installed the IOS into Flash but
at the end it asked me Activation Code 1-4, I entered the same code I have
and I used with my Old 2MB Flash but it says Activation Code Invalid, do we
have different Activation Code for new 16MB Flash card? Whats the solution?
I will appreciate your urgent reply,
Saleem
