Hi Tony,

I built my lab at home from equipment off of ebay and it worked out great.

I bought,

6x 2611XMs with max DRAM and Flash, running the latest IOS for under $200 a
piece, shipped.

Got the 2511 as console access and 2522 for Frame relay simulation both
under $200 a piece, shipped.

Already had 2501s but replaced those with 2514s, they have dual ethernet
interfaces... but I may replace those with two or three more 2611XMs just to
keep things upto date end to end but 2514s should work great, 3x 2514s
should cost you around $80 bucks, shipped.

I bought two 3550s, $400 each, they are great... I was able to get both
locally so no shipping.

Got a 3560 for $1k which is a good price if you check prices on ebay. Also,
found a 3750-24 which had one bad port and got that for around $900 instead
of $1600

I already had two post 42-U rack from previous lab setups so... if you can
afford it, it would be best to get a 24-U cabinet and put all your equipment
in there. Also, try getting a Remote Power Switch as well, which could save
you money on power so you can turn and turn off the rack whenever you
please.

I hope this helps, enjoy!
