Hi,
Anyone knows what is the difference between using
default-information-originate always route-map xx
and
default-information-originate route-map xx??
I am working with IEWB LAB 10 question 3.10, the solution uses default-information-originate route-map xx to originate default once route-map xx is satisfied, regardless whether a default-route is already in the routing table; however in the command reference, it says: " Use the default-information originate always route-map map-name form of the command when you do not want the dependency on the default network in the routing table.."
I tested both command and both produced the same result.. when the route-map is satisfied, whether or not the router has default-route in its routing table, it originate a default-route to the OSPF domain. So the question is, is there any difference at all for these two commands when using with route-map?
Cheers,
ricky
