Yes you are right with this.
As soon as you set the backup interface command on s0/0/0, the s0/0/1
ppp connection will go down (in backup state).
You can check this with: "show backup". When the s0/0/0 connection
goes down, the s0/0/1 will come up, again you can follow the process
with the show backup command. When you configure a delay it will first
wait for that, before going in to this process.
