Hey Luan,
For me, aliases are not about to save time. They are to avoid me from getting annoyed and getting additional stress when I mistype commands in the lab exam.
I enjoy "c" to get to the configuration mode, and "srsr" to get all the routing config I need. Of course, they are only meaningfull to me.
It's all about personal preference.
Cheers

Also, these are things that make the CCIE goes wrong! Shortcuts, stupid
tricks...etc. Has anyone ever use aliases at their works? Besides teaching
CCIE that is.
Imagine Cisco TAC tell you:"Hey, before we come in your device, would you
mind putting these aliases in beforehand..."
I am all for doing all you could to pass the lab, but using aliases to save
time? That's sick. We all shouldn't encouraging these kind of
practises!

I seriously don't understand the logic behind using aliases...
What is the big deal if you type conf t or config t
or sir instead of show ip route
you know a command and you want to create another one to remember the one
you know and you will have to remember the alias as well as the command that
goes with it? Seems like double work to me.
Keep it simple stupid!
