Embedded event monitor monitors ios conditions using little applets running
on the router.

They can be configured to watch certain conditions or take actions if
necessary. I used one in production to remote a bgp network command if a
static route's tracked object failed, etc.

Search the archives my example is there.

Also check out Ivan Pepelnjak's eem section on ios blogspot... more than
useful!

so maybe use a TCL script to run "show" cmds and view T1 errors and then
possibly use object tracking to manipulate path costs etc? what's EEM?
