Hi Jonny

As far as i remember, ACL challange with multicast is that we can not have
deny statement in ACL when used in group-list for RP Advertisement.
Hope, you are looking for the same.

Subject
Using access-lists in multicast

Hi,

Hopefully this is not a confusing question.

I remember somewhere that there was a trick to multicast when referencing
access-lists. If I remember correctly you can't break down a multiple line
access-list into say one line and then use it with multicast.

If this doesn't make sense sorry, but I remember hearing it somewhere or
reading it somewhere and was wondering if there is anything when doing
multicast with the situation I tried to describe? I can't remember where I
read or heard this.

Thanks
