Hi
So netview will not provide this functionality. There is a CCMDB (Change
and Config Mgt Database) product within the Tivoli products. There is
also TADDM.(Tivoli application dependency discovery model).
What you could do is create a context sensitive tool under the event
list that could launch the Ciscoworks app.
Hope this helps you
Cristian

Hi
I have this first answer, but i insist, (i know what you want)
there is a probe that connects to the Ciscoworks LMS via an api. Typically it just replicates the events that are being displayed in ciscoworks. By sending the traps and syslog messages directly to the probes you can bypass ciscoworks.
*THIS WE ALREADY KNOW....*
ITNM (IBM Tivoli Network Manager) will provide you with L2 and L3 topology and will do snmp and icmp POLLING.
*THIS IS WHAT I THIS IS INTERESTING*
I already asked again for a full integration (i.e. CiscoView, DFM, RME
etc) and if it is possible with some other IBM product.
I will send you any new info as soon as i have.
Cristian
P.S. I will have to do an IBM Tivolli implementation next moth so i am
interested also.
