Jason,
When you set both sides of a trunk link up with "switchport mode trunk",
it does put the link in unconditional trunking mode, so depending on the
exact wording of the question, you answer may be correct. However,
"switchport mode trunk" does still send DTP frames, so if the other side
of the trunk is in desireable or auto, the trunk will still form.
Therefore to satisfy your requirements, you may have to add "switchport
nonnegotiate" as well.
The crude table below illustrates which combinations of mode on Switch 1
will trunk with other modes on Switch 2.
