I think you do not need to think about this too much. You will find out
that the QoS you see in the lab is much simpler than you are worrying
about.

But just in case, this topics keep wondering arround in your head, then
maybe this links can clear it up, and who know, you may get exactly that

If you are wondering, why class-default is required, when you do CBWFQ
on sub-interface (no matter if its'Frame or Ethernet which is the case

Just trying to clear up a last minute QoS kink. I might find this
tommorow, and then times up. I seem to remember that theres a reason to
use class class-default to apply a frame QoS command, and it had
something to do with changing the queuing mode of class-default and then
attatching a policy-map.
I'll probably find it tommorow but any help at this point might mean
the difference between an expensive lunch, and lunch included.
