Multicast Vlan Registration

Dear Members

Please help me in this scenario.

I am trying to set up MVR (Multicast Vlan registration),

source (Vlan 40) & receiver (Vlan 20) ports are on different switches,
but i can not reach the
receiver.

when source & receiver are configured on the same switch, this feature
works.i have used the standard MVR configuration on both the switches,
as follows

Switch 1 #
mvr
mvr vlan 40
mvr group 229.5.5.5

Int fast 0/4 (Source)
mvr type source

Switch 2 #
mvr
mvr vlan 40
mvr group 229.5.5.5

int fast 0/7 (Receiver)
mvr type receiver
mvr vlan 40 group 229.5.5.5

also ip igmp join-group 229.5.5.5 is configured on the device
connected to this receiver port.
but whenever i ping 229.5.5.5 from source, there is no reply.
