Read the doc CD a few times on the BGP configuration guide & command
reference (I know the bgp commands are nearly 400 pages), but it's worth it.

Oh, and how are you with playing BGP with the backbones in your own rack?
I can think of 10 features the backbones test you on... read the doc cd then
use your imagination to focus as you lab these up...

The hardest stuff in the doc cd (IMHO)

-uses of the aggregate address command (very big one, many many options,
it's a couple of pages I think)
-setting ALL possible attributes in route maps to influence path selection
ingress/egress
-use of as path regexp to filter routes
-use of bgp features, route-reflectors, confederations, etc. (scaling bgp in
general)

If you did IE WB VOL 2 4.1, labs 13, 16-20 were my favorite by far for BGP.

Subject: BGP in two weeks

Hi all,

My lab date is in two weeks and my weak point is BGP.
Any suggestions on how to brush up my BGP knowledge in two weeks? :-0

Thanks,
Marc
