I wanted to thank everyone here who has helped me work towards my CCIE cert.
I haven't achieved it yet, but I am on my way. This list always has the best
source of questions and answers pertaining to CCIE certification and very high
level information about technology. Groupstudy is a tremendous resource for
the CCIE certification. The technical quality on this list is by far, the
best. Even at that, it is sometimes hard for me to sift through the
information that ends up in my mailbox on a daily basis.
That is why I have started a site that I hope will benefit everyone in this
community. It blends discussion groups with tags, a wiki, blogs, and personal
profiles. The intent is to represent this high level of information in a new
way that can be easily understood. The goal was initially very selfish. I
wanted easy to digest information to help me study for my CCIE. Since it
didn't exist, I waited patiently for the right software to come along to then
build the ideal site. It may not be my ideal site right now, but it is as
close as I could get with the today's technology.
The thing that I was aiming for was integration of blogs, tags, a discussion
forum , a way to document stuff (wiki), profiles, etc. It levereges the best
of Web 2.0 technologies and blends them together.
While we are just starting out, I am sure that as the site grows with content,
it will become a valuable resource for everyone who is seeking their
certification.
One last thing. It is totally free.
Please check it out when you have a chance.
Thanks,
-Stephen
