Our media is a fear machine. Fear of WMDs, fear of the Russians, etc..
Intelligent folks here know our president is a liar, and our media aims to
make profits off headlines. Sometimes the truth isn't as profitable. Much
media is reported that Georgia did, or possibly started the conflict. It's
not completely one sided. Georgia has a lot to gain being backed by US media
or military if it comes to that. Georgia wants its sovereign territory back.
