Dear John,
When you enable encapsulation frame-relay on an interface, the interface
will get all the DLCIs from the FR-switch available for that particular
interface. If inverse-arp is enabled, the interface will get all the
mappings for those DLCIs. If you disable inverse-arp and perform static
mappings for some of the DLCIs , then the other DLCIs will remain there
indicating "DLCI USAGE = UNUSED". You simply get rid of dynamic mapping for
the DLCIs through "no frame inverse-arp" command.
